Urban Summit 2024
A new year calls for a new Summit. The positive response from the previous edition strongly highlighted the need and urgency for a new Summit. The 2023 edition was mainly about launching the concept. In 2024, the goals are more concrete and an improved version will be sought.

Urban culture covers many topics that can be included in the Urban Summit. There is a lot going on in this area in relation to the following themes:

Decrease in club sports vs growth of urban, accessibility, social aspect vs skill level differences, appeal, Olympic Games.
Culture
Hip hop most-listened-to music worldwide, 1.5 billion people interested in urban culture, current youth culture, arts/fashion.
Public space
Redesign on moving/recreation/living through urban, focus on youth attraction, lack of space.
Welfare
Offers suitable for young people, urban as a tool, renewed forms and initiatives focused on youth care & equality of opportunities, facilities by and for young people.
Economy/Citymarketing
Keeping young people for the city, social investment vs becoming financially viable, liveability vs image.
